Detroit Memorial Rig

Rig was then transported to R & R Fire Truck Repair, Inc. where space, labor & parts were donated to continue restoration. Volunteers set to the task of retrofitting a donated chassis as it was decided that keeping the rig completely original was unreasonable. Project objective was to keep rig as original as possible.

The rig was then put in the capable hands of Todd VanAlstine of Todd's Customs & Rods for over a year where he magically transformed a virtual pile of junk into what you see pictured here.

The rig has been painted at Motor City Solutions and is in the process of being reassembled, wired, & pumps replaced. Making good progress and it is looking good. Thanks to everyone for a job well done.
